  I recently bought 10 Jasmina potted rose from Greenvale Rose Farm and the contact person who told himself an owner named Gavin as advertised on Greenvale Rose farm website. Unfortunately, after 3 days we found they all have Black Spots. I spoke to Gavin but he refused any guarantee and even did not deliver one rose (standard blushing pink) that my husband paid for. He said the Blushing is normally $79 but let me have them for $72 because I made an order of $350 for Jasmina already. We waited for the last  Blushing to be delivered but it never came though he did tell me and my husband he will deliver it soon. We paid $930 altogether for 10 Jasmina ($350) + 2 Burgundy icebergs and 8 Blushing pink but he said I was stupid and if I wanted one more, pay $75 (not related to any price??). I calculated everything but he ignored and sent back a list with incorrect price and quantity and did not match any total we paid. Now, he refused to take any responsibility. Yesterday and even this afternoon, he still promised to give me free spray and swap the two dying roses (their leaves are still green and nice!) but now he said no and did not turn up for anything. I have all messages saved for evidence. It is funny though on all the roses, there are Treloar and Swane’s names and tags although they did not sell me these but Gavin did. So, who should be responsible? I’m bringing this to consumer affairs and VCAT if this issue is not resolved. He just texted me and said it is me to sort out everything!

  I dealt with the new owner John and he is in the process of making this farm excellent with customer oriented practices and honest transactions. A person acquired his website and business by fraud and ruined the whole reputation of the business. You can visit the farm any day and meet John to check my true words here. I would love to continue ongoing business with John and wish him all luck in rebuilding the rapport lost by the person who conned him.
